Aluminum bottles can also be unsafe. Since aluminum is toxic, and is linked to several diseases, a plastic coating is sprayed inside the bottle. Is this plastic liner leaching chemicals. Is the plastic liner intact. You can't be sure. As evidenced by the highly publicized scandal about the well known aluminum bottle manufacturer (Sigg) that was caught knowingly selling bottles with liners that were leaching BPAs. They swore their aluminum bottles were safe and did not leach any BPA's, even though they knew for 2 years that their liners were not safe at all, and were leaching BPA's. Sigg even put an apology on their web site. (Yea, we lied before but now you can trust us, nudge nudge wink wink) It's silly to even consider aluminum when stainless steel is safe and never needs a liner.

A sport cap is available as an extra cost option along with a variety of other caps including a stainless steel cap.

A tiny mistake
This bottle was incorrectly labeled 11.84 ounces. It's in the tiny writing on the bottom of the bottle. It is actually 25.36 ounces. Because of this tiny error (most people didn't even notice, if you get the insulated cover no one will be able to see it) we are discounting this bottle. The normal price for this 750ml bottle is $17.95. Our mistake is your benefit. We are selling this bottle for only $8.95 including a loop cap.
